Rivers Dermatology is committed to building a community of like-minded Dermatologists, office personnel and patients who value the delivery of high-quality clinical and customer services.
Our Dermatologists are residency and fellowship-trained, board-certified physicians who have demonstrated exceptional competence in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nail diseases. Our clinical acumen is coupled with cultural competence gained through experience with patients of various skin types. Thus, our physicians are well positioned to provide evidenced-based, culturally competent, medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services.
We are committed to utilizing Telehealth platforms and leveraging strong, professional relationships with healthcare providers within the Clinton, Maryland, and surrounding communities to expand access to high-quality, dermatologic care.
Meet Dr. Rivers
Diana A. Rivers, DO, DABD, FAAD, is the Founder and Medical Director of Rivers Dermatology, LLC. Dr. Rivers completed the rigorous dermatology residency program at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Recognizing a need to offer surgical care to patients who attended the residents’ clinic, Dr. Rivers founded the surgical resident clinic which expanded the program’s educational experience and patient’s access to care. Upon completing residency and demonstrating expert competence through the American Board of Dermatology certifying examination, Dr. Rivers became designated as a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (DABD). Her comprehensive training spans a wide range of clinical settings to include rural, urban and suburban hospitals, clinics and private practices, which supports her ability to diagnose and manage medical conditions in a variety of patients.
Her commitment to the field of Dermatology extends beyond her initial training and certifications through participation in ongoing educational activities as a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), and as a member of the National Medical Association and Skin of Color Society. Dr. Rivers’ approach to Dermatology involves the intersection of innovation, cultural competence and evidenced-based practices. This approach informed the creation of Rivers Dermatology, LLC, a patient-centered, physician-led practice.
