    2. Do I need a referral from my Primary Care Physician to see the Dermatologist?

    3. What medical Dermatology services are covered under my policy?

    4. For a Dermatology visit, what are my exact deductible, coinsurance and copay amounts?

  • Yes, Teledermatology visits are available for patients who reside in D.C. or Maryland.

    These visits are synchronous, live-video conducted via our secure medical record platform and your computer or cellphone.

  • Photo ID – a valid, government issued photo identification card is required. Acceptable forms of ID include – state ID, military ID, state driver’s license, passport, or permanent resident card

    1. Insurance card – current medical insurance card

    2. Payment Method – debit or credit card (for payment of patient cost-sharing amounts)

    3. Medical Information – List of your medical history, medications (with dosages), and allergies

    4. Pharmacy Information – Address and phone number of your preferred pharmacy

    5. Referral Forms – if required by your medical insurance plan

  • Prior to your visit, our office personnel confirm your medical insurance information and verify your personal identification. Once verified, we provide you access to our secure, HIPPA-compliant patient portal to begin the preliminary patient intake process. We ask for general information and provide you with our patient policies for your review. Appointment reminders are provided, which allow for confirmation or cancellation of your scheduled appointments.
